Following the Government’s announcement yesterday, we are deemed essential as a primary healthcare service and so will remain open for all your eye care needs.
Our guidance from our governing bodies has not changed since June 2020 and we remain in an amber phase. Unlike the first Lockdown in March 2020, we are now better prepared. We have infection prevention and control procedures in place, changes to clinical practice now embedded and PPE readily available.
If there are any changes to this guidance, rest assured that we will inform you immediately.
We have been open since June and are working on a locked door, strict appointment only basis. For your safety and reassurance we have taken many stringent measures to protect you and us during your visit. Having done this for some time now, we are confident that you are safe to attend your appointment with us.
We recently featured on ITV Granada Reports with the Lockdown’s lasting impact on eyesight. Many have neglected their eye care since the first Lockdown and unfortunately a few have been impacted permanently. So if you have any symptoms please don’t ignore them. If we contact you to arrange an appointment, we may be monitoring a condition for you and it may be vital that you attend. If you are concerned about attending, please call us and we can advise accordingly.
If you have any concerns with your sight, would like or need a new pair of spectacles or contact lenses, or if you have any other concerns about your eyes, please call us on 01619415335. In many cases we may be able to arrange a phone or video consultation to discuss your concerns and if felt necessary, arrange to see you at the practice.
Rest assured that the recent lockdown will not affect your ability to attend your eye consultations and be styled with some stunning eyewear too.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Khal, Susan and the team.
